Patricia Castro, AGACNP
Nurse Practitioner
Patricia Castro is nationally board certified as an Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2010 and 2019. She is a member if the American Nurses Association (ANA). During her nine years as a registered nurse she practiced is several of El Paso’s locals hospitals where she obtained experience in dialysis, pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, urology, gastroenterology, emergency care, step down units, and intensive care units. Before joining Texas Urogynecology she was part of the Covid 19 registered nurses serving the El Paso Community. She now serves the community in providing care for several urogynecology related conditions including: screening women with prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, menopause, endometriosis, infertility, fibroids, menstrual irregularities, vulvar and vaginal disorders, interstitial cystitis, routine gynecologic care, contraceptive management, and screening for those women who are candidates for surgery. Her goal is to provide meticulous yet compassionate care while treating patients as her own family. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She balances her work with spending her time off with her husband and 3 children.
